The men's leather wallet has a bill compartment, three credit card slots, a side pocket for ID and driver's license, for example, and a lockable coin compartment. Leather is a natural material and may have small imperfections. Each leather product is also patinated by hand. This complex process makes our products unmistakable. No bag can be exactly like another. Small color deviations are unfortunately unavoidable and not a sign of poor quality.

DOES THE WALLET »JOE« VINTAGE-BROWN HAVE RFID PROTECTION AND WHY DO I NEED RFID PROTECTION?
Modern means of payment by card now work with NFC or RFID technology. Identity documents such as ID cards or passports now also have a radio chip. Unfortunately, this technology not only has advantages, but also opens the door to unwanted data theft. Our wallets are equipped with a protective membrane as standard, which prevents the unintentional reading of RFID chips. Safety first!
HOW CAN I CLEAN AND CARE FOR THE »JOE« PURSE IN VINTAGE BROWN?
We recommend three steps for the care of men's wallets:
- Remove dust and dirt particles from leather purses, eg with a leather brush or hand-held vacuum cleaner
- Gently dab and rub away stains with a clean, wet cloth. Consider trying a mild detergent if the stains are stubborn. You can use a special leather cleaner for this. You should test this in one place beforehand and use it in accordance with the instructions for use.
- Slightly grease leather from time to time (e.g. leather care with beeswax or carnauba wax). It is always best to test one spot first.
WHAT KIND OF LEATHER IS THE »JOE« PURSE MADE OF?
We only use vegetable-tanned buffalo leather for the men's wallet. The particularly robust leather comes from India. During production, our leather is also refined by hand with oil and wax, giving it its special vintage patina. This is the only way our leather gets its unique vintage patina.
WHERE AND HOW IS THE VINTAGE BROWN »JOE« PURSE MADE?
Our goods are made in India. Our manufactory is a small family business whose long-standing employees manufacture our bags with a lot of heart and passion. In the meantime, a real friendship has grown from our long cooperation. The production conditions are socially acceptable and correspond to BSCI standards. We convince ourselves of this on a regular basis. Our leather and cotton fabrics are sourced directly locally from India. When dyeing our cotton fabrics, only dyes that are free of AZO dyes are used. Our leathers are basically vegetable tanned, i.e. plant-based and without the use of aggressive tanning agents. Our standards are socially and ecologically justifiable and above average.
Our leather production is LWG certified
Our leather tannery is certified to the LWG standard and we use only vegetable tanning agents for tanning. The Leather Working Group (LWG) is an initiative to make conditions in tanneries and intermediaries more transparent and to bring about sustainable change. To implement its goals, the Leather Working Group has developed an audit protocol for sustainable and responsible leather production.
