You will be happy to know that we typically ship within 2-3 working days. While there might be occasional delays, we assure you that delivery will be within 7 working days.

Shipping costs are calculated based on cumulative weight of entire order and are different for domestic and international delivery.

In the event that a non-delivery occurs on account of filling wrong name, address or contact number and if, any extra cost towards re-delivery is incurred, it shall be paid by the user placing the order.

Shipment/delivery time, of the order starts from the day of receipt of the confirmed payment against the order placed with Drakensberg. The shipment /delivery time is an approximate time mentioned by the vendor against each product. Drakensberg shall not be liable for any delay / non-delivery of purchased goods in the event of flood, fire, wars, acts of God or any cause that is beyond the control of Drakensberg.

The user must agree to provide authentic and true information, to avoid any kind of delay or loss of merchandise. Drakensberg reserves the right to confirm and validate the information and other details provided by the user at any point of time. If upon confirmation, such user details are found not true (wholly or partly), Drakensberg has the right in its sole discretion to reject the registration and debar the user from using the services available at this website, and / or other affiliated websites without prior intimation whatsoever.

Delivery of orders would be done address specific not person specific.

All Duties and taxes for international shipping shall be borne by the customer. Drakensberg is not liable to pay any Duties or Taxes for International Shipping.

RETURN, EXCHANGE AND CANCELLATION

DRAKENSBERG acknowledges return of products only limited to direct sale between vendor and consumer. This only entails sale online, and not through retail outlets.

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return , there is no credit refund given on the purchase amount, but you may exchange it for another product(s) of same or higher value by paying the remainder within the exchange period of 1 month. You may also opt for credit note that can be redeemed later for any future purchase on our website with validity of 2 months.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damaged and hampered products while transportation MUST be notified by email within 48 hours of the product being delivered and returned to our warehouse within a strict time period of one week, else DRAKENSBERG will not be liable to accept the merchandise. In such cases, the customer will have to write in to customersupport@drakensberg.in and a prompt response is guaranteed from our end. We will investigate the damage from our end and repair the merchandise in entirety.

ALL couriers of this nature will be borne by the customer themselves. Drakensberg will only bear the expenses of the transaction after the repair of the merchandise.

In cases wherein due to usage of the merchandise, some part of the product is damaged, such as hardware – locks, studs, screws , buckles, straps, will only be repaired within a period of TWO WEEKS from the time of receipt of the merchandise after dispatch from our warehouse.

Please note, damaged products specific to repair will have to be couriered back to our warehouse wherein all costs will be borne by the customer themselves. Drakensberg will only bear the expenses of the transaction after the repair of the merchandise.

Personalised/Customized products are not subject to return or exchange.

Special prices terms: No ongoing offer or discounts can be clubbed with exchange or return transactions.

Cancellation: After having placed the order, customer may cancel the order only if the order has not been dispatched yet. We do not accept any cancellation on orders after the product has been dispatched from our warehouse.

PRODUCT PRICES & AVAILIBILTY

Product prices: All references to Rupee on this website are in Indian currency. International prices vary due to taxes/duties, and the laws of the countries they have been bought from. In case of International shipping, price may vary when logging into the site from different postal codes and locations. Prices are subject to change at any time , without any notifications. All rights to change price is reserved by Drakensberg.

Prices of products available at retail outlets are only available within India. No product can be purchased in Indian Rupees outside India.

Availability: Due to popularity or short interruption of supply, some items may be unavailable or out of stock. Also at present, only a selection of our goods are available for online orders. We intend to extend this in future to a much wider range. As our retail outlets vary in size, it is possible that not all items are displayed in all stores. Some items may require self assembly. It may be necessary to make changes to product specifications. We reserve the right to make these changes at any time and without notice.

COLOUR VARIATIONS / WEAR & TEAR

Leather: We use different kinds of leather: Harness leather in some bags and Soft Oily leather in others with vintage effect. Reproduction of colours is as accurate as possible. Please note, colours available at the stores may vary slightly from what is displayed on your monitor. Leather is a natural material and slight colour and texture variation is bound to appear in each item.

Laser Engraving/Embossing on leather: All of our items have Laser Engraving on leather with logo and travel quote patch inside the bag. As the laser is used for engraving and it may react differently on each skin , slight variations might occur. Also hairline cracks might be visible over time due to general use . These are not defects but enhance the look and feel of our products over time.

Canvas Fabric: Our canvas is dyed manually and goes through 5-6 stages where as slight variation might occur in different parts. This is a general property of the fabric which cannot be controlled.

Wax Coating Fabric: Some products in our range would have wax coating on canvas, mainly Heritage collection. Re-wax when needed. Over time, you may find the wax coating beginning to thin, or notice spots where the waterproofing has broken down.

Hardware Colour: Our hardware is vintage effect brass metal. Metal hardware might tarnish or lose its shine over time due to weather conditions and usage. These changes which occur naturally, due to the varied use and handling of the product by the customer, cannot be held against the manufacturer.

Defects and Scratches: All Drakensbergproducts are hand crafted, hence no two products are identical in their absolute measurements. Slight changes, but minimal to the eye, do not change the essence of the design.

Scratches and Marks: Scratches and marks on the leather surface are a part of the characteristics of the material. They do not qualify as defects. This can happen due to use over a period of time which enhances the look and feel of the product, adding to its vintage appeal. Some types of leather might have a slight patina on the surface due to usage and is the quality of the leather. Marks are common on leather as each skin is different to the other, as no two skins are the same. Please note, these are NOT considered as defects or rejects.

NOTE: Colour variation cannot be a reason of rejection of goods or merchandise.All Drakensberg Products are dyed in Natural Vegetable Dyes, in accordance to International Standards.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

LEATHER - Keep it dry and away from moisture. If you accidentally splash water on your bag, you can blot it dry with a dry towel. Allow it to air dry and do not use hair dryer or clothes dryer.

CANVAS - Only spot clean Canvas with cold water or a mild soap (not detergent) for tough stains. Let bag dry in the shade, not in open sun. Do not machine wash. Do not use bleach.

WAX COATED CANVAS - To deal with major dirt, let the mud dry and then gently scrub it away with a bristled brush. For a tough spot use mild soap (not detergent) in cold water. Then rinse and allow to air dry. Do not dry clean or machine wash your waxed canvas bag. It is water resistant not waterproof. If submerged in water, it will pass through the material.
Material is resistant to heat but avoid extreme temperatures.

COTTON LINING - Our lining inside the bag and accessories is 100% cotton.
