The grill apron »Bob« is currently only available in one universal size (one size). However, the apron can be individually adjusted using a belt buckle at the waist (90-125cm or size M-XL) and at the neck (size M-XL). The apron has two leather straps on the side, e.g. for towels, and 3 practical leather patch pockets for additional grill accessories.
The leather apron is handmade from natural and sustainable materials. The apron is of high quality and all wear and tear points and stress points are additionally reinforced.

For us, sustainability is not an advertising statement, but part of the design. We are concerned with authentic lifestyle accessories. A fair production with natural, authentic materials. If possible without plastics. In fact, there are currently very few manufacturers of leather barbecue aprons or bar aprons that could serve as a role model for us. Many brands continue to rely on classic chrome tanning or even the use of split leather (reduction of the material thickness of the leather to save costs). The term "vegan" leather is also often misleading. This usually means a material that is not made of animal skin, but is made of commercially available plastic. There are indeed leather-like materials made from plants, but they are very expensive, rather rare and are not suitable for use as a grill apron. We do without plastics in our leather barbecue aprons for men. Our leather or canvas is not laminated with plastic. The leather used is sustainably vegetable tanned, even if not entirely without chrome. An original with rough edges, but with a soul factor.
HOW DO I CLEAN AND CARE FOR THE "BOB" GRILL APRON, COGNAC-BROWN, MADE OF LEATHER?
Basically you should hang the leather apron on a hanger to air it after wearing it at the grill. A leather apron does not belong in the washing machine and is also not suitable for hand washing. Basically, we are of the opinion that you should look at the age and the many uses of a barbecue apron. We therefore recommend cleaning the surface, i.e. with a leather brush and leather eraser at most. Grease stains turn into a beautiful patina over the years, just like high-quality leather trousers. There are also liquid leather care products that have a cleaning effect. However, these remedies should be tested according to the instructions on the package and on an inconspicuous area. The leather should then be lightly greased again so that it does not dry out. If you grill a lot over direct and open fire, he should think about an additional fire protection impregnation. For example, we recommend FEUERFEST® fire protection impregnation for textiles. This allows our grill aprons to be upgraded to fire protection class B1 (hardly inflammable) according to DIN 4102.
DOES THE LEATHER GRILLING APRON "BOB", COGNAC-BROWN, FIT ME?
We currently only offer one universal size. However, our grilling aprons are adjustable at the neck (size M-XL) and at the waist (90-125cm or size M-XL). We are currently unable to offer grilling aprons for very "small" and very "large" people.
WHERE AND HOW IS THE LEATHER GRILLING APRON "BOB", COGNAC-BROWN MADE?
Our goods are made in India. Our manufactory is a small family business whose long-standing employees manufacture our bags with a lot of heart and passion. In the meantime, a real friendship has grown from our long cooperation. The production conditions are socially acceptable and correspond to BSCI standards. We convince ourselves of this on a regular basis. Our leather and cotton fabrics are sourced directly locally from India. When dyeing our cotton fabrics, only dyes that are free of AZO dyes are used. Our leathers are basically vegetable tanned, i.e. plant-based and without the use of aggressive tanning agents. Our standards are socially and ecologically justifiable and above average.
